Sunday morning, I was rather rudely woken by a dance track, the song allocated to MD on my phone. I had to be at the beach to see Padre` cross the finish line for the City to Surf. He'd been in training for a few months and it was his test for himself. He did VERY well.
After it finished, he'd been given his free rub down massage and free feed, we decided to meet at our favourite local haunt for a pick me, or two.
Due to all the road closures, we had to take the LONG way round. We sat for a little while, but BLB's car broke down quite close to where we'd been, and therefore not close to home.
Padre` went to play...padre`, so MD and I went to the little bookshop that was near by and had a browse. I could quite easily spend a fortune in a very small amount of time.
The history of shoes, books dedicated to retro tattoos, to YSL, to Chanel...it has EVERYTHING!
My first find, before even getting past the first counter, was this little baby.
Isn't it just the sweetest? I have an office job and am always on the lookout for something that de-formalises the whole deal.
I can't WAIT for 2009, JUST so I can use this Diary.
It's full of little facts and pictures too. A week to an opening, and about an A5 size, which fits perfectly in my recently purchased bag.
SO adorable.
This other item I found almost on my way out, but not quite. I'm not entirely sure why I bought it, but I like the idea of being told how to violate a book.
Should be good fun!
