Ok, ok, so I don't have to start thinking about it just yet, but considering it's coming into (our version of) Winter these next few months, I'm taking the liberty of getting in early.
I really don't want to be one of those people that stands out like a tourist. That's just not my style. Also, my suitcase is small, like itsy bitsy. This means I have to pack smart.
Anything I buy these days needs to be either a necessity, or is to be taken to Europe with me. If it is light, can be worked into multiple outfits & requires little or no ironing then it's worth looking at.
An outfit like this would probably take up my *whole* suitcase.

Here's what I found on The Sartorialist.

First & foremost. A bag. My suitcase has a detachable backpack... buuuuttt I'd rather use something like this.

And how to save time getting ready in the morning? Don't wash your hair, just hide it for an extra day!
I do like the long knit as well. It looks very comfortable & cosy. If it ever got too warm you could always take it off and hang it over your bag. Right?

For when you don't feel like wearing loads of crazy layers, there's always the perfect jeans, tee & jacket combination.

For those warmer Winter days, thick tights, shorts, shirt & jacket. Not sure If I'd ever get to wear this kind of outfit, but we can always hope.

I would buy this outfit, just attempt to look as effortlessly put together as she does.

Although I do think, my footwear of choice will be a selection of flats, perhaps a pair of cool, comfy welly's/gumboots. Ok, I'm seriously concerned about suitcase space now.

My essensials for winter in europe:
A coat
lots of tights
pretty blouses you can layer
basic black or white bag
sexy ankleboots
where will you be going?
I'm doing exact same thing, except for summer clothing. Trust me, it's not as fun as winter packing, although I guess I will be able to fit more into my case without all my beloved jackets and boots.
Next, we hit polyvore. ;)
Europe... I've never been, but I know it's beautiful there. I love all the photos you posted - so lovely. Winter clothing will be so bulky, but also fun because you get to dress up!!!
I'm sure what ever you wear you will look simply, and effortlessly, amazing!
that first picture is insane!
The first outfit was hilarious! I was laughing so hard. Who the heck would wear such a thing?
Some of the outfits are very cool, casual and so creative! I usually pack 3 pairs of jeans, a bunch of tshirts, and a sweater or two depending on the place I'm going. You have a lovely blog by the way!
