Chronicles of Cuileann Pt 1

As I mentioned the other day, I have been lucky enough to play host to

Miss Cuileann of Eating A Tangerine.

Last Saturday morning she flew in from Sydney for a four day holiday in Perth. I think we crammed more into that first day than I've done in a long time! After dropping the bags off at home, we traipsed around the city. I forgot my camera so no photos I'm afraid. We saw the river, the bell tower, the ferris wheel, walked the streets, saw Em-face before having lunch, blew bubbles in the underground train station... as all responsible adults should.

Then we decided the beach was in order. I'm not generally a beach person but it was the first real hot day of the season & we are a beach-side city after all. It would have been stupid not to go. I'm glad we went, we had the grandest time.

 

 

 

 

There are SO many more photos but I won't bombard you. I'll fill you in on the rest of her stay with me at a later stage... this was just the first day!! Think, something along the lines of kangaroos, emus, cockatoos and galahs... the real Aussie stuff!!
