This one requires some real thought...
1. If work sent you on paid leave for a year, what would you do in that year?
2. What's your most embarrassing moment?
3. If your house were on fire, what would be the one thing you save?
4. What's the biggest misconception people have about you?
5. What's one life experience you would like a do-over on?
You can answer one or all of them. If you feel uncomfortable and would rather, feel free to email me. It'll be great to get to know you.

Ooh, this looks like fun :)
1. If work sent me on paid leave for a year I would concentrate soley on my studies and volunteering for counselling not-for-profit agencies (Lifeline etc). It would be so gratifying to know that I could put back into the community and not worry about how I was going to live while doing it.
2. My most embarrassing moment? I have so many, I don't even know where to begin!
3. If my house was on fire, I would realistically save more than one thing, but my dog would be the most important. I don't know what we'd do if something happened to her in a disaster like a fire.
4. People think that I am stereotypically Asian. Name a stereotype, I've been placed in it. I have to say, I break most of them!!!
5. I would never do over anything, no matter how painful some memories are, I'm proud of who I am today and what I've been through and survived. I don't think about regret or wish for do-overs. I just think of ways to improve myself next time.
1. Travel
2. Probably taking the bus in an area I don't know haha
3.Ummm..after making sure that everything living is out, I would probably grab what is more expensive.. my laptop. Oh, and I can't forget my boyfriend's hat..
4.I don't know.. I am a pretty shy person, so a lot of people probably think some things about me that I am not.
5.I really don't know..
Oh, by the way, you have an award waiting for you on my blog!
1) I'd travel. I'd go nuts. I'd do things I normally wouldn't or couldn't do. What exactly, I don't know - I'll just live spontaneous.
2) I was invited to a Halloween party, huge mansion party. I ended up going home in a cop car. My parents were woken up. I had no idea how it happened. I was not charged. I dropped my camera in the cop car, they called me days later to go pick it up. Halloween is my birthday.
3) Nothing comes to mind like first hand - maybe my wallet/IDs.
4) Probably that I party or drink a lot.
5) Everything.
1. Take all of my dream surf trips around the world.
2. Falling 3 times in the span of 4 minutes during one performance, cussing audibly on the way down all 3 times. During a sold out show.
3. Just one thing??! I couldn't. I'd save my dog, laptop, and this one picture of my dad and I.
4. I'm not sure.
5. I'd re-do my summer dancing in New York. Just so I could go back!
1. Travel, yes yes.
2. I can never think of it when I'm asked. Truly, I'm not holding out on you.
3. Animals aren't things, right? Okay, good. Mm...laptop probably is most irreplaceable, in terms of what's on it. Or my most recently filled journal. My copy of God's Silence would definitely come ot mind too...
4. I have a feeling that people often either think that I am a)happy-go-lucky, walking on sunshine, funny, lighthearted girl or b)a strange moody hyperphilosophical loner.
5. My exchange in Germany. It was great and I learned a lot from my mistakes, but I could have gotten a lot more out of it.
1. If work sent you on paid leave for a year, what would you do in that year?
Well, I don't quite work yet (I'm fourteen, but looking for a part-time job!), but I think I'd like to travel for a bit, and see the world :)
2. What's your most embarrassing moment?
Unfortunately, embarrassing moments are all too common for me. One of the most embarrassing moments for me would be when I accidentally smacked a teacher's bottom with my design folder.
(pure accident, I'm terribly uncoordinated) -cringe-. DDDDDD: He's about 60, and a little old innocent man. DDDD:
3. If your house were on fire, what would be the one thing you save?
"Thing". That being all my family and pets escaped free, I'd probably save the laptop/filesthereof, or my camera. I'd attempt to save the piano... but that is quite impractical ):
4. What's the biggest misconception people have about you?
Just because I'm small, does not mean that I'm entirely useless, or can't dream big, or can't believe in myself. Ha :)
5. What's one life experience you would like a do-over on?
I'm not so sure. A do-over might mean a change in the present D:
I would not like that very much. Perhaps not assaulting my teacher as mentioned in question 2.
(What a life I live, eh?)
oh...sounds a little dangerous...
Hey doll, I answered these here:
http://thechemicalsbetweenus.wordpress.com/2009/06/17/getting-to-know-me/
I would love to see your answers!
1. If work sent me on paid leave for a year, I would go home and finish my novel. I'd go back to Christchurch, and just be there so that I could be in the environment I was writing about.
2. This afternoon was pretty embarrassing. I scratched the side of a woman's car while pulling into a parking spot, and didn't even realise. They accosted me when I came out with my shopping.
3. I wouldn't save anything but myself. I don't own anything that isn't replacable. It's a waste of time to worry about the consumerables.
4. That I'm happy all the time. I'm as unhappy as the next person, and right now I don't feel happy at all.
5. The age of 14. The whole year was just horrible, and I made some decisions that I wish I had never made, and that, given a second chance, I wouldn't do again. Would that make me not who I am today? Maybe. I'm willing to take that chance.
