How ARE you!? I'm kinda proud to have something not in English on my blog. I too, have no idea what it means, but I think it's a good reflection that the blog world is as vast as the real one. Barbro said that she would write a translation one day soon, so I'll put that up as a separate Lovers's Diary entry. Speaking of which, have you written something? You think I'm just saying it, but I really would like it if YOU did. I really, really would!
I've had a week off from going out every night. It feels a little strange to be home so much, but my hip pocket could do with a break. This morning I had an overemotional moment (I almost cried at work!!), things were looking so terrible. Each time it's happened in the past though, something has come up to take the pressure. This time was no different, there has been a little movement on the house & I should hopefully have someone in there SOON! This is a good thing - it means I can afford my holiday!
I've been feeling a little creative of late as well - lots of people are posting DIYs and seeing the daily Etsy email come through has my creative bug buzzing!
My passion for another tattoo has come back as well. I have a folder full of different, inspirational images that are soley for my next two. They might be location, style, image, colours, anything really. They all mean somethign to me! Have you seen a white tattoo? I thought it'd be a good idea if I want it somewhere more visible. I know, tattoos are controversial, not everyone likes them, but each to their own, right?
Hrm, something that's just come up... Do you know what your name means? Do you know why your parents picked that name? Do you like it? I'll answer all these questions for my name tomorrow. How's that for a deal?
Love you lots

My previous name was chosen because it was the only name my parents could agree on (my father wanted white trash type names, my mother wanted interesting names.)
When I changed my name, I changed it to Poppy because I liked it, and because it went with the last name I chose, no greater reason than that. My middle names (which I changed too) have more 'meaning' - one is a Swedish name, the other is French for 'fox'. And I chose my last name because I thought it was interesting and unusual.
Funny story: My mother desperately wanted to call me Molly, but my paternal grandmother (who is rather... particular...) hated the name so much she bought a dog and called it Molly to stop my mother naming me that.
My name - Jacinta - means purple flower. And my surname means red. Not very exciting!
well my first name means "crown" and my surname means "to strike"
I love those earrings!! They are fierce......
Lately I've been thinking of getting another tattoo. I was thinking of getting the Ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti on the back of my neck....
My name was chosen by after a soap opera character....
My dad decided it would be interested to spell my name Necole instead of Nicole
I was '' THIS close to getting a tattoo, had the design and location all planned out, then I went to Scotland. Every bloody man and his dog had a tattoo. One woman had GODS GIFT written across her back, no apostrophe. I think that in Australia people still put alot of effort into thinking about what tattoo they'd like and what it means to them, which is how it should be.
As for my name, it doesn't mean anything, my mum was talking to a woman on the phone and when she put the phone down she went to call out to my dad, but since she was still thinking about her conversation with the woman she called out a mix of my dad's name and the woman's name. Hence my name was born.
Well, my name is Athena.
Athena is the Greek Goddess of Wisdom.
I guess my parents expected a lot out of me.
Unique names run in my family, a bit, I think; my cousins are called Kaitlyn and Keiran.
My brother is Josh, though.. so maybe not.
I was going to be called Jasmyne.
Wow.
My middle name is Sue, for no apparent reason.
I guess I like my name, most of the time. Sometimes, it seems like a mouthful; most of my friends call me Tina. And.. that's my life story.
Can't wait to hear about your name, lovely!

I don't know who chose my name for me but I know Sara means princess in Hebrew and in classic Arabic it means happy :)
My fist name means pure, and my middle name means stream. (caitlin brook)
My mother liked the name of one of her old classmates, and since my father agreed, my name was chosen.
I don't really like my name, I wish it was less common. Something like Calypso. That's what I'm going to name my daughter should I have one.
Hey Bambola.
I'm back, and slighty more happy then my last two posts.
To answer your question, my original name (and the one I prefer) was Sabella , meaning couragous and wise.
My name is now Isabella, because people got my name mixed up. I plan to change it back.
My middle name is Antonia, I don't know what it means.
Sanchez is nickname a friend of mine gave me. through this flow chart.
Issy - Lizzy - Lizzy McGuire - Lizzy McGuire 's best friend Miranda - Miranda Sanchez - Sanchez
Hence Sanchez was born.
-Sanchez, Sabella, Isabella.

Every where I turn people talking bout tattoos must be a sign. I'm still waiting for inspiration on my next one, and finding a good place to get it done.
Cant wait to hear about you name.
My name is a female form of a male name, and my mother picked it because it was the name of an actress she liked haha. My middle name is German though chosen by my father.
I'm not sure about white tattoos... It's more for highlighting. Very pretty earings

My name means "the stranger", actually. I never liked it when I was younger, but now I kind of do :)
My mother was reading a book by Barbra Cartland the very first time I kicked her from inside her tummy, and she decided to name me after the author :)
Heidi has been said to mean cheerful, noble, and/or kind depending on the source. Isn't that just lovely? My parents had no idea what it meant when they picked it.
