Note To All

Constructive criticism may be necessary at times. Amongst friends, this is ok. However, if you can't say something nice, or you don't know the person, keep your opinion to yourself.

This is not directed at any of you, just a random internet person who's a bit of a dick.

I love you lot & know that you're probably thinking "well, duh!". Unfortunately, the above isn't common sense to some people.

Comments are mine, inkedidots, mine, inkedidiots (going top to bottom). I'm not alone, he pays out on most people who've posted tattoos on Tumblr. I won't say I don't care, because I do. I just think he's a bit of a prick is all. Nothing personal.

As somebody who is moderately tattooed in very visible places, I would have to say get used to it, unfortunately. People are going to be jerks about your tattoos, no matter what they are or where they are.

The first few times people were negative about my tattoos, it really hurt, particularly when it was family or friends. But then I realised that to avoid being upset all the time I would either have to keep my arms covered constantly or I would have to ignore them and be proud of who I am. The choice was between being ashamed of my choices because of other people's reactions or celebrating my choices because they are who makes me, and I am not made up of other people.

Fuck the haters and celebrate yourself.

He needs to get a life instead of going around criticizing people for no good reason, I mean some people. I'm so tired of people using the anonymity of the internet to put people down because they have no self esteem.

I hate it when people are mean for the sake of it...I hate it when people are mean. Period.

Happy you didn't let it get to you! x

Wow, what a complete dickhead.
(Sorry, hormones and such have got me sounding quite violent/vulgar.)
It gets me so upset that people go out of their way to be mean and such D:
Be proud, Bambola,
you're beautiful, and so is your tattoo!
I shall happily join pinkapplecore in kicking him in the face :)

Thankyou for all your lovely comments, Bambola. They make me smile really, really big :)

There seems to be a lot of people living mean comments of blogs recently ....it really gets to me ....we're supposed to be supporting and encouraging each other, not knocking confidence and rubbishing efforts! Obviously not everyone is going to like what you say or agree with it, but unless you're being mean or cruel, nobody should leave a negative or mean comment aimed at anyone!

And sorry I've been terrible a commenting recently ...I've just been swamped and sick, but I'm back for today anyway!lol!

As long as it means something to you and you are happy with it, screw what other people think of it.

I personally love it, and think the shoulder is a lovely place for inking :P

No worries, hun.

What a tool. I think that anyone who gets a tattoo gets it because it has significant meaning to that person and they have thought about it and have committed to it for the rest of their lives.
It's not up to other people to judge.
As someone who doesn't have the courage to have a tattoo, good for you and screw all the haters.
You made your big choice and you should be proud of it because no matter what other people say, it still means the world (or just Italy haha) to you and that should never change.
