And Then.....And Then.....

If you recognise the title, you will understand my frustration. Work is currently going through a "restructure" but apparently, my department isn't a priority and they are yet to complete the key definitions of our new direction and role within the group.There IS NO "and then"!


Where does that leave me? Creating papers for meetings that are cancelled, doing those horrible jobs that I've spent forever putting off, redefining my job description, and then getting lost in the blog world, spending far too many hours looking at what other people are wearing. nothing suss!


To the fashion people - I found some shoes. I fell in love as soon as I saw them and they're not too high for my ever-so-delicate ankles (/sarcasm). I've decided that as soon as I get to Melbourne, I will be buying these shoes.


PLAN - Get off the plane. Get my bag. Get to the city. Drop my stuff off. Have something to eat. Visit the markets til the store opens. Go to the store. Buy me some SHOES!


They look hot, and I think they'll go rather well with the wardrobe of clothes I'm going to buy. Aren't they just the cutest? I'm hoping they're not just black though. I'm tired of black shoes, that's another item on the list of "To Buys".


I've not yet seen Sex and the City, but EVERYONE is going on about the Gladiator shoes (bottom image) and I can see why! I love these shoes about as much as I hate the fact they're so high, I'd look like a bit of a douche if I tried walking in them. BUT. I'm definitely not going to rule them out.

If you've been to Melbourne, and know of any great little boutiques or 'thrift stores' to visit, let me know, I plan on having the fullest five days of my life and spending a WHOLE lot of money.


Hmmm....wonder if they're doing 24hour shopping anywhere...
