Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity Jog

Hello Dear Blog World!!

I am home once again. Is it just me, or do the weeks leading up to a holiday take forever, the time you are travelling seems to run a little faster than normal, and when you get home it's almost as though it went in the blink of an eye? *sigh* Ah to be back in Melbourne....

As all the Melbourne people would know, I had the best time, it IS Melbourne, you've known it all along! The people there were fantastic, I think I ran into more people from my town in Melbourne than I would at home...how's THAT for weird?

I also performed wonderfully at the task of spending all my money, so fellow shoppers will be proud. I will have to post about Melbourne in sections, as there are FAR too many photo's and stories to tell.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to find Smith Street, I did look, but it was only in vain. :( Other spots I went to were, Brunswick street (Fitzroy - shoes anyone?), Lygon Street (Carlton), I did the Edge at the Eureka Tower (or is it Rialto...someone correct me if I'm wrong), Federation Square, the Library (had some nice exhibits there), The MCG (Melbourne isn't Melbourne without it!), that's just to name a few... OH! How could I forget. Degraves. Lovely.

As for the people...where do I start - I met so many I know I have forgotten some names :( which is absolutely terrible of me I know.

Sergio, Paul C, Mev, Steph, Nadine, Salgado, Patricia, My German Girl, Bubbles, The Jock, Jade, Michael (Home town friend), Damian (Old Home town friend)...that's off the top of my head, I'm sure I will remember the rest when I wake up properly and look at my photos for the 100th time.

I miss Melbourne already. But it IS nice to be back. xxx
