Catchya Later Alligator

To those who read often, don't stress too much, I'm not going too far...relatively speaking of course! I'm off to Melbourne for the next 5 days. I shall be back on Thursday next week.

I've spent the afternoon packing my suitcase, I'm flying cheap, therefore my baggage has to be light...I weighed it once I was finished packing. The news wasn't good folks. I think I was about 10kgs over the limit! O_O uhm...oops?

I even minimised what I packed!! I don't know that I could pack less...and I managed to fit everything in the suitcase, which means I have no carry on luggage...surely that has to be counted right? Right!?

My one page list with the title "Melbourne Packing List" may look long, but I honestly thought that I'd even cut THAT down. My suitcase is only half full...I thought I was doing well.

What do I do? Do I unpack, and take even LESS!? Perhaps pay the extra? MAYBE, I could play the innocent naive young lass? (which I'm not...just so you know) and put the waterworks on.

*Sniffle* "But I didn't know, *sniffle* I thought I would be able to take it. I haven't got any *sniffle* carry on *sniffle* luggage...." I'm sure you get the idea.

The hair dryer and straightener would be the heaviest items, but they are NECESSARY! Trust me, you don't wanna see my hair when it dries naturally. *trauma*

This should be an interesting start to the holiday.

...uh oh...what do you think the flight home is going to be like? Considering I'm going to Melbourne to shop. For clothes. That will need to be packed. Taken on the plane. In a suitcase.

I think I may have carry on luggage on the way home...
