I learned how to braid my own hair! (uh, no, this is not a picture of me...) I did it this morning. It has to be the greatest hairstyle option when you really can't be bothered straightening, blow drying or pinning up your hair before work. It's not very long, I only started from my part (slightly to one side) and down behind my ear. But it is like the photo, because it's an "outie" braid (as opposed to an "innie" braid).
I only have short hair, so I ended it by pinning it off and sweeping all my hair to the same side as the braid so it becomes like a small little side pony. It looks a little more like a tuft of hair, but I'm still proud.
Can't wait 'til my hair grows out so I can play a little more...
Maybe mum will let me practice on her...she'd be one stylin' lady.
