My morning was spent getting visiting the family who I shall be house sitting for later this week. I have to say, I love house sitting. I get my fix of independence without all the bills!
The rest of the day was supposed to be spent shopping with Mother Dearest for the dress I mentioned in an earlier blog. Turns out, she doesn't need my help. She found the whole outfit on her own. And I by "outfit" I'm talking, shoes, earrings, necklace, shawl, dress. The whole kit and caboodle.
The only thing she didn't get was the bag. So after being home for 15 minutes, we're off. To the very same place she got the outfit from. Yes. Correct. She got the whole lot from the one store.
Before we even got to look at the bags for MD, I find a pair of cherry red flats. I put them on the counter so I could buy them when we were done.

She shows me the bag she wanted, it was rather dated, and not the good kind of dated. So we looked at the others. We managed to find a lovely black one, with pearls and crystals on the front. Very simple but suits perfectly.

She also pointed out a wallet she likes, (remember it's her birthday tomorrow, and so far I'd bought zip!) So I added the wallet, and the bag to the shoes on the counter.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, (depending on the way you look at it), while looking around for bags, I found one for me. Not that I was looking. One of a kind type bag, so I know I'm highly unlikely to see anyone else with it. That goes on the counter too. The count so far is a purse, a clutch, a pair of shoes and a bag.

Please excuse my ignorance but does this label mean anything to anyone?
Then I see the shoe rack. ( Oh Dear ) There is a pair of hot pink/red shoes screaming at me, saying "try me on!" and I tend to listen to screaming voices. I know points aren't really in at the moment but...Oh. My. God. SO nice.

They go on the counter.
The pair next to the red/pink pair are nice little black shoes, the type that are in fashion at present. They fit like a glove, look adorable and cost about $150 less than what you get in the big commercial stores.
They went on the counter too.
MD had already bought a few items, and proceeded to buy a few more. I ended up sitting on my hands, if I didn't I would have been more broke than I am now. And that's never a good thing.
