We have the most diverse culture, which in itself is our culture. We have gorgeous beaches, desert like no other, amazing forests & national parks and glorious blue sky you can see, even on the smoggiest of days! We have a hot Summer, filled with barbie's, beaches, friends & beer. We have a cold Winter, filled with footy, feasts, friends & wine. What's not to love?
Sure we have a dodgy history, but that's what happens when you send a bunch of criminals to a new country...and then send your convicts to build the cities.
We have fairy bread! && Vegemite.... seriously? Why WOULDN'T you love this country!?
We don't start wars, we can walk the streets and feel safe (most of the time), we help our neighbours when they're hit my natural disasters, we send firemen when buildings fall down & we're generally nice people.
Ok, so Perth isn't the most exciting place to live, but it's safe & it sure is a great starting point.

This is nice to know, my boy and I have a dream about moving to Australia one day. I hope there is a need for Art teachers over there!
Happy Austraya DAY! I'm so excited! Big Brekky at my mum's and then a bbq at my friend's house! Then we're walking to the river to watch the fireworks! YIPPEE!
