I've had a lot going on in my life at the moment, but unfortunately, nothing had become official & I didn't want to jump the gun.
Fortunately, it was made official this morning!
Two weeks ago I put an offer on a small unit. It was accepted that day subject to finance.
Today, my finance was approved! First order of business? Hit Ikea & take photos of everything I'd like to put in it.
I can't wait to do it up & show you the progress as it comes about. I'm REALLY excited, so please tell me to hush when the need arises.
Candles - for ambience
Really cool patterned cupboards - for I'm not sure where
Really BIG mirrors! - for living areas
A unit as below, or a 4x1 solid unit - for the bathroom
Shelves with invisible brackets - for areas that need it?
LOTS of gorgeous soft lighting - for my room & living room
A floral type sticker - for a living room wall
Did I mention BIG mirrors?
Ornate decorations - for everywhere
As you can see, I've had a lot of time to think about what I would like in my house... I've been so blessed already, gifts of furniture include a coffee table, light boxes, hat stand, TV & an uber cool chair. Also - mum bought me a set of towels which are OH SO COOL!
This year is going to be full of surprises, challenges, opportunities & growth.
It really is going to be a great year. Here's to a great start!

I like wall art, this one woman showed how if you couldn't afford the real thing how to improvise. She put a flower on a stand, placed a flashlight behind it or i guess you could use a lamp, then she traced its shadow on the wall and painted. It was really pretty. I'm so glad you got the house though. Its a good way to start the year!!!
