Spring in the Valley

Over all, the day was good.

The highlights
Meeting loads of new people
Spending time with friends
Messing with peoples heads about my 'stain'
Enjoying the sunshine
Being on a bus too big for a carpark...kudos to the driver for being absolutely awesome
Sitting around taking photos... AFTER we'd got back from the Valley

The lowlights
Getting roasted :( I got the English skin, not the Italian stuff,
The endless lines for everywhere
Not getting let in to different places
Not drinking as much as I would have liked

ADVERTISEMENT - Do go to Elmars. In fact, get there early and spend the day there, in the shade. The vibe there was just lovely. Next year, that's what we'll be doing.

WARNING - No one in Perth go to the Great Northern Distillery. It was terrible. They didn't let us in because we were on a bus. How ridiculous is that?

Now while I didn't get photos of the Valley, I did switch my camera to black and white to take some casual shots of everyone relaxing.

I couldn't get enough photo's of this guy, I thought about posting them all, but less is more. He had a very cool rock vibe about him. He's a friend of a friend of mine, and I hadn't seen him in years...I just wanted to try to get some smoking shots, just to see how they would turn out, the pictures just accentuate all the right stuff! He kept telling me to stop taking photos, but it's his fault for being photogenic, and he didn't put up much of a fight...


All in all, my Spring in the Valley was just wonderful and I'll definitely be doing it again next year!
