Thanks to all of you for inspiring creativity and for allowing me to vent whatever it is that needs venting.
I'm feeling a little restless lately...thinking of doing one of those TEFL courses to give myself some options when I go overseas. Unfortunately, then net has LOADS of different options, from weekends, to a few weeks of nights, to whole semesters of night, to 4 week intensives. =S There is officially something called "TOO MUCH INFORMATION". Oh, and the prices range from a couple of hundred to a couple of thousand dollars. It's going into the too hard basket.
Think I'm ready for something new now.

So Ive Became a new follower of this blog and just realized you live in Australia! One time in class a few years ago (Im a Sophomore in high school) we were reading some book written by an American, writing in first person as an australian. We had to write a letter to a friend using different 'australian phrases' and let me tell you, you haven't used any of them! Maybe the united states perspective of the way australians talk is extremely distorted, what a shame
:O don't put TEFL in the too hard basket. Since I will be teaching english when I move to Spain I have been researching different TEFL courses for almost a year now and I think I pretty much am an authority despite not having done one yet hahaha. So if you want me to break it down for you let me know!

The 4 week course is by far the best possible option, and the best 4 week course is the Cambridge CELTA. Only take other courses if that is impossible for financial or other practical reasons, and avoid online courses if you possibly can.
