It's Been A While

Just in case you forgot, "Hi, I'm Bambola. I write this blog."

I've had the longest weekend. Friday after work, one of the projects I'm on had their Christmas party.

We played 9 holes of golf. Well, they played 9 holes, I played 4. I've discovered that golf and I just weren't meant to be friends. We did try, we really did, but it just wasn't gonna happen. You know? It did make for a very entertaining afternoon though. Full of hissy fits and lots of badly hit balls. I managed to score 400 on one hole and 0.5 on a hole!

Post golf I picked my cousin up & we drove to south to stay over at a friends house. She was getting married on Saturday & my cousin was the hair & makeup lady.

Therefore, Saturday was spent in a house full of girls all getting ready for the ceremony. I had found a dress to wear last minute, but the strap broke as I was getting into the car. Talk about frustrating. It's not as though I'd bought something else to wear 'just in case'.

ANYWHO. I got back to my house at 1am Sunday morning, promptly crawled into bed & fell asleep.

That brings me to Sunday. I spent my Sunday at the Synergy Playground with Shannon, her friends and family for her baby shower. It's only 12 days, but hey, who's counting right? She had gone to so much effort with all the food & drink & gorgeous baby singlets for us to paint. If you wait a little while I'm sure a post will come up on her blog with more pictures.

I wore my new fedora, new sunnies (old school cheapos!), my new MinkPink top from About A Girl thanks to Stompface. It's just gorgeous isn't it? Well, what you can see of it anyway.

Thanks very much to Mr Christmas Tree for providing a different, yet plain background. I assure all you lovely readers I will try to get my outfit posts infront of our now decorated tree. Just for the festive season. :)
The above is me checking out my sunburn, it's not as bad as it has been. Please excuse the tatty jeans, they're the comfort food of my wardrobe.

Now I am at home, lazing about in front of the tv, having caught up on all my posts & looking forward to catching up on the rest of my Z's.

What did you do this weekend?

The fedora was awesome!! Not quite as cool as my big floppy pink hat, but awesome anyway.
