& then this morning, I felt a little like a golliwog, still not happy with the fringe, the rest of the hair isn't so bad. So I straightened it.

It's ok I suppose. I'm good at playing with my hair, doing a different style every day. It grows really fast anyway, so I should be fine.
When it's curly though, I feel like I look like this girl.
A chick off an Australian soap opera. Just the hair mind you, not the rest of it.I'm sure you'll see the progress as it grows out.

this reminded me of my self , i hate going to the barber , i never even brush my hair , i just fix it using my fingertips , and it looks nice every time , few products , but i never get what i want after getting my hair cut , i even had to get it cut my own self , using scissor and a mirror , yeah i been mocked for more than once for the catastrophe i did , even my brother payed me for not showing up in his graduation , i like your hair anyway , i had a similar one , but i ruined it :D , and , i got the same Shirt :d my favorite too
you look so cute! i like it better curly than straight, but that's just personal preference. you look great either way. and your hair DOESN'T look like that neighbours chick's hair :)
